RURAL POST OFFICES WINDOW HOURS TO BE CUT 2 TO 6 HOURS PER DAY

              THE UNTIED STATES POSTAL SERVICE ARE HOPING THE DECISIONS THEY MADE IN 2012 WILL HAVE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THE COMPANIES BOTTOM LINE IN 2013 AND YEARS TO COME.

 

              IN MAY, USPS ANNOUNCED THE POST PLAN, WHICH WOULD CUT WINDOW HOURS OF MORE THAN 13 THOUSAND RURAL POST OFFICES NATIONWIDE INCLUDING A HANDFUL IN THE KNCY LISTENING AREA.

 

              THE POSTAL SERVICE IS PROJECTING BY CUTTING WINDOW HOURS AT RURAL LOCATIONS, IT COULD SAVE THE COMPANY OVER 500 MILLION DOLLARS EVERY YEAR.

 

              THE TOWNS WHO WILL BE GETTING NEW WINDOW HOURS FROM THEIR RURAL POST OFFICE INCLUDE: CRAB ORCHARD, ELK CREEK, BROWNVILLE, NEMAHA, AND DUNBAR.

 

              THE NEW TIME WILL BECOME OFFICIAL AT MOST POST OFFICES NATIONWIDE ON JANUARY 12TH.
