ORGANS BEING PROCESSED BY NEBRASKA ORGAN RECOVERY

             THE FAMILY OF A TEENAGE KILLED IN A CAR ACCIDENT EARLIER THIS WEEK PLANS TO DONATE HER ORGANS TO OTHERS.

  

            17 YEAR OLD SAVANNAH ROBERTSON OF PLATTSMOUTH, WAS IN A TWO VEHICLE CRASH SUNDAY ON US 75 AND DIED MONDAY AFTERNOON.

               HER PASSANGER, 14 YEAR OLD JENNA MINER, OF MURRAY, DIED AT THE SCENE.

            ROBERTSON'S FAMILY SAID THEY DECIDED TO DONATE SAVANNAH'S ORGANS WHILE SHE WAS ON LIFE SUPPORT.

  

          THE DONATION OF HER ORGANS AND TISSUES IS BEING PROCESSED BY NEBRASKA ORGAN RECOVERY.

              THE ORGANS WILL HELP EIGHT PEOPLE, WHILE HER TISSUE COULD GO TO 40 MORE.
