RICHARDSON AND JONES BRING EXPREINCE TO NEB CITY POLICE FORCE

               TWO NEW MEMBERS OF THE NEBRASKA CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT WERE INTRODUCED, AND TOOK THEIR OATH OF OFFICE AT MONDAY NIGHT’S MEETING OF THE NEBRASKA CITY CITY COUNCIL.

 

            CLAYTON JONES AND CHRIS RICHARDSON ALONG WITH THEIR FAMILIES WERE INTRODUCED TO THE CITY COMMISSIONERS AND BY A RECCOMENDATION BY CHIEF DAVE LACY WAS TO START AT STEP THREE OF THE NEBRASKA CITY POLICE PROGRAM BASED ON YEARS ON THE FORCE AND EDUCATION.

 

              OTHER BUSINESS FROM MONDAY NIGHTS MEETING SAW THE COUNCIL UNAMIOUSLY APPROVE FOUR RECCOMENDATIONS FROM THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS, THE UNAMIOUS APPROVAL OF THE INVESTING SCHEDULE AND CONTRIBUTION PERCENTAGE FOR POLICE OFFICERS AND CITY EMPLOYEES, AND THE APPROVAL OF A STIPEND FOR EMT COVERAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF 25 DOLLARS A NIGHT FOUR NIGHTS A WEEK.

 

             THE NEXT MEETING OF THE NEBRASKA CITY CITY COUNCIL IS SET FOR MONDAY JANUARY 7TH BEGINNING AT 6 O CLOCK AT CITY HALL IN TOWN.
