ADVERISITING CAMPAIGN TO TARGET OMAHA AND LINCOLN RESIDENTS

By Nate Gonner 11/29/2013

THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF NEBRASKA CITY'S TOURISM AND COMMERCE OFFICE HAS A PLAN HE SAYS WILL DOUBLE THE TOWN'S VISITOR NUMBERS IN 2014.

TIM PENDRELL SAYS ROUGHLY 200,000 PEOPLE VISTED NEBRASKA CITY SO FAR IN 2013 AND OVER 80,000 OF THOSE VISITORS CAME DURING THE TOWN'S THREE DAY APPLE JACK FESTIVAL IN SEPTEMBER.

PENDRELL SAYS THROUGH A DIRECT ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN, HE COULD DOUBLE THE  NUMBER OF VISITORS COMING TO NEBRASKA CITY AND IT STARTS BY LETTING PEOPLE IN NEBRASKA'S TWO BIGGEST CITIES KNOW WHAT THE SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA TOWN HAS TO OFFER.

          PENDRELL AUDIO

PENDRELL SAYS THE ADVERTISING WOULD TRY TO INTICE OMAHA AND LINCOLN RESIDENTS TO VISIT NEBRASKA CITY OUTSIDE OF THE TOWN'S ANNUAL FESTIVALS AND HELP BRING BUSINESS TRAFFIC THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

A SNEAK PREVIEW OF NCTC'S ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN IS COMNG UP IN MID DECEMBER.
