DONATIONS NEEDED FOR SOCK AND MITTEN MADNESS/HOLIDAY ELF PROJECT

             THE CITY OF NEBRASKA CITY IS ASKING FOR COMMUNITY INVOLVMENT IN HELPING SEVERAL FAMILIES HAVE A HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON THIS YEAR.

 

              CITY OFFICIALS STARTED TAKING DONATIONS FOR BOTH THE HOLIDAY ELF PROJECT AND SOCK AND MITTEN MADNESS ALMOST TWO WEEKS AGO, AND THEY ARE HOPING TO HAVE ENOUGH ITEMS TO MAKE THE CHRISTMAS’S OF OVER 15 NEBRASKA CITY FAMILES.

 

              KATHY BLANKENSHIP IS THE COORDINATOR OF BOTH FUNDRAISING PROJECTS AND SHE SAYS SHE IS HOPING PEOPLE CAN PICK UP AN EXTRA ITEM DURING BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING THIS WEEKEND.

              BLANKENSHIP SAYS THEY ARE LOOKING FOR DONATIONS OF HATS, GLOVES, SCARFS, NEW UNWRAPPED TOYS FOR BOYS AND GIRLS INFANTS TO 15 YEARS OLD, AND MONETARY DONATIONS.
