500 RECYCLING BINS WERE DELIEVERED TO RESIDENTS ON TUESDAY

       THE CITY OF WEEPING WATER IS STEPPING UP THEIR EFFORTS IN RECYCLE PARTICIPATION BY OFFERING IT FREE TO EVERY RESIDENT IN THE SMALL CASS COUNTY TOWN.

 

        THANKS TO A $15,000 GRANT FROM THE NEBRASKA ENVIROMENTAL TRUST FUND, WEEPING WATER CITY OFFICIALS ON TUESDAY DELIVERED 500 CURBSIDE RECYCLING CARTS, WHICH WILL ALLOW RESIDENTS TO RECYCLE FREE OF CHARGE.

 

        WEEPING WATER MAYOR HOWARD STUBBENDECK SAYS THE FREE RECYCLING WILL HELP KEEP THE PRICE TO SOLID WASTE PICK UP LOW.

        STUBBENDECK SAYS RESIDENTS CAN RECYCLE ANYTHING EXPECT STYROFOAM, GLASS, AND FOOD SCRAPS AND SAYS HE RECYCLES OVER 60 PERCENT OF THE SOLID WASTE IN HIS HOUSEHOLD.
