SENCA HOPING TO RAISE 300,000 TO HELP RESERVE FEDERAL FUNDS

 

              A SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA CHARITABLE ORGINAZATION IS LOOKING FOR CARING CHARITABLE INDIVIDUALS.

 

              THE SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA COMMUNITY ACTION’S (SENCA) HEAD START PROGRAM HELPS SERVE OVER ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY LOW INCOME AND SPECIAL NEEDS FAMILIES IN NEMAHA, OTOE, PAWNEE, AND RICHARDSON COUNTY.

 

              SENCA HEAD START DIRECTOR CRYSTAL DUNEKACKE (DUNE-A-KAK-E) SAYS IN ORDER FOR THE PROGRAM TO GET FEDERAL FUNDS, THEY ARE OBLIGATED TO RAISE 300,000 DOLLARS IN DONATION.

 

              DUNEKACKE SAYS THE DONATIONS DON’T HAVE TO BE MONETARY.

 

              SHE SAYS THE CENTER WILL TAKE ANY DONATION FROM PEOPLE SUCH AS SUPPLIES FOR THE CENTER OR VOLUNTEER HELP SUCH AS READING A BOOK TO A CLASSROOM OF CHILDREN WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED AND WOULD WORK TOWARDS THEIR GOAL.
