CITY HOSTING HOLIDAY ELF PROJECT AND SOCK AND MITTEN MADNESS

              SEVERAL CITY ENTITIES INSIDE NEBRASKA CITY ARE TEAMING UP TO HELP RESIDENTS IN NEED THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.

 

              THE CITY OF NEBRASKA CITY IS TEAMING UP WITH THE FIRE AND RESCUE SQUAD, THE NEBRASKA CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS, LOURDES CENTRAL CATHOLIC SCHOOLS, AND TREE CITY TEES TO HOST TWO FUNDRAISING PROJECTS: THE HOLIDAY ELF PROJECT AND THE SOCK AND MITTEN MADNESS TO BRING SOME HOLIDAY CHEER TO RESIDENTS THIS WINTER.

 

              NEBRASKA CITY EMS CAPTAIN KATHY BLANKENSHIP IS HEADING UP THE FUNDRASING PROJECTS, AND SAYS SHE KNOWS THINGS ARE TIGHT FOR A LOT OF FAMILIES THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.

              BLANKENSHIP IS ASKING FOR MONETARY DONATIONS, WRAPPING PAPER, AND NEW UNWRAPPED TOYS FOR THE HOLIDAY ELF PROJECT, AND SOCKS, MITTENS, HATS, AND GLOVES FOR THE SOCK AND MITTEN MADNESS.
