REIMAN SAYS GOOD PLANNING KEEPING COST LOW TO TAXPAYERS

             THE AUBURN SCHOOL BOARD TOOK A MAJOR STEP FORWARD WITH THEIR HIGH SCHOOL GYM REMODELING PROJECT MONDAY NIGHT.

 

              ACCORDING TO SUPERINTENDENT KEVIN REIMAN, THE SCHOOL BOARD APPROVED A BID FROM MIDWEST FLOORING OF LINCOLN FOR $80,309 TO REPLACE THE HIGH SCHOOL GYM FLOOR, AND HEARTLAND SEATING OF SHAWNEE KANSAS FOR $102,406 TO REPLACE THE BLEACHERS IN BOTH THE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL GYMS.

 

              REIMAN COMMENDS GOOD PLANNING BY THE BOARD FOR KEEPING THE COST LOW TO TAXPAYERS.

              THE BOARD ALSO APPROVED PROCLAMATIONS FOR RED RIBBION WEEK AND AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK, AND REVISED THE SCHOOLS POLICY INVOLVING LAW ENFORCEMENT CONTACTING STUDENTS ON POSSBILE CHILD ABUSE CASES.

 

              THE NEXT MEETING OF THE AUBURN SCHOOL BOARD IS SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY NOVEMBER 11TH BEGINNING AT 5:30 AT THE SCHOOLS CENTRAL OFFICE.
