ORCHARD SOLD BETWEEN 20-25 THOUSAND BUSHELS OF APPLES ALREADY

              THE APPLE SEASON IN THE MIDWEST IS OVER HALF WAY OVER, AND A NEBRASKA CITY ORCHARD CONTINUES TO SEE PEOPLE IN THEIR STORE BUYING UP THEIR CROP.

 

              ACCORDING TO CO-MANAGER OF KIMMEL ORCHARD ERIC OLSON, THEY HAVE SOLD BETWEEN 20-25,000 BUSHELS OF APPLES THIS FALL, AND RECENTLY HAVE INCLUDED NEW VARIETYS SUCH AS BAREBURN, GRANNY SMITH, IDA RED AND MORE.

 

              OLSON SAYS THIS HAS BEEN A SUCCESSFUL FALL SEASON FOR THE ORCHARD.

              ALONG WITH APPLES, OLSON SAID THE ORCHARD SOLD AROUND 2,500 PUMPKINS.

 

              HE SAYS THE ORCHARD SHOULD HAVE PLENTY OF APPLES AND PUMPKINS FOR PEOPLE INTO THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER.
