3 WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREAS IN THE AREA WILL PARTICIPATE IN HUNT

             KIDS IN NEMAHA AND JOHNSON COUNTIES INTERESTED IN HUNTING WILL HAVE AN OPPROTUNITY TO TRY IT FOR NO CHARGES COMING UP LATER THIS MONTH.

 

              FOR A THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR, THE NEBRASKA GAME AND PARKS IS HOLDING A SPECIAL UPLAND YOUTH PHEAST HUNT AT NINE WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREAS IN THE STATE INCLUDING THREE IN THE KNCY LISTENING AREA.

 

              JEFF LUSH IS AN UPLAND PROGRAM MANAGER WITH THE NEBRASKA GAME AND PARKS COMMISSION, AND SAYS THE HUNTS ARE DESIGNED TO INCREASE HUNTERS IN THE STATE.

              LUSH SAYS THE HUNT IS FOR YOUTH AGE 15 AND YOUNGER.

               IT WILL TAKE PLACE SATURDAY OCTOBER 19TH AND SUNDAY OCTOBER 20TH.

 

              LUSH SAYS THE WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREAS INVOLVED FROM THE KNCY LISTENING AREA INCLUDE TWIN OAKS AND HICKORY RIDGE IN JOHNSON COUNTY, ALONG WITH THE PERU BOTTOMS IN NEMAHA COUNTY.
