EXHIBIT COMES TO KHN FROM JOSLYN ART MUSEUM IN OMAHA

              AN EXHIBIT FROM THE AN OMAHA ART MUSEUM HAS FOUND A HOME AT NEBRASKA CITY’S KIMMEL HARDING NELSON CENTER FOR THE ARTS FOR A FEW WEEKS.

 

              THE MAXIMILIAN BODMER EXPEDITION-TRAVEL IN THE INTERIOR OF NORTH AMERICA 1832-1834; WAS BROUGHT TO NEBRASKA CITY BY THE JOSYLN ART MUSEUM IN OMAHA, AND INCLUDES PIECES DONE BY ARTIST KARL BODMER.

             BODMER JOURNEYED ACROSS THE MISSOURI RIVER IN NEBRASKA AFTER THE LEWIS AND CLARK EXPEDITION HAD COMPLETED.

 

              EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF KHN JENNI BRANT SAYS ANOTHER COOL FEATURE OF THIS EXHIBIT IS THERE IS AN AUDIO TOUR TO GO ALONG WITH THE GALLERY, WHICH SHE FEEL HELPS EXPLAIN WHAT THE ARTIST WAS TRYING TO DO WITH THE PIECE OF ART.
