PSU HAS HAD 42% INCREASE IN OUT OF STATE ENROLLMENT SINCE 2008

By Nate Gonner 8/28/2013

THE SPOKESWOMAN FOR PERU STATE COLLEGE SAYS A PILOT PROGRAM STARTED FIVE YEARS AGO HAS SIGNFICANTLY INCREASED THE NUMBER OF OUT OF STATE STUDENTS COMING TO PERU FOR SCHOOL.

ACCORDING TO REGAN ANSON, PERU STATE ONE RATE ANY STATE PROGRAM STARTED IN 2008 AS A THREE YEAR PILOT PROGRAM THROUGH THE NEBRASKA STATE COLLEGE SYSTEM WITH THE GOAL TO MAKE COMING TO NEBRASKA FOR SCHOOL MORE AFFORDABLE.

ANSON SAYS THE ONE RATE ANY STATE PROGRAM OFFERS THE SAME TUITION, FEES, AND ROOM AND BOARD TO ANY STUDENT WHO WANTS TO COME TO PERU STATE FOR SCHOOL AND SAYS THE NUMBERS OF OUT OF STATE STUDENTS COMING TO PERU HAS INCREASED IMMENSLY.
