ORCHARD SOLD ESTIMATED 4 THOUSAND POUNDS OF CHERRYS OVER WEEKEND

          A PICTURE PERFECT WEEKEND WEATHER WISE HELPED THE KIMMEL ORCHARD IN HOLDING A SUCCESSFUL 2013 CHERRY FESTIVAL.

 

          ACCORDING TO CO-MANAGER ERIC OLSON, OVER THREE THOUSAND PEOPLE ATTENDED THE TWO DAY CHERRY BASED FESTIVAL IN NEBRASKA CITY WITH ALMOST FOUR THOUSAND POUNDS OF CHERRYS ESTIMATED TO HAVE BEEN SOLD OVER THE WEEKEND.

 

         OLSON SAYS THERE ARE STILL PLENTY OF CHERRYS FOR THOSE WHO MISSED OUT THIS WEEKEND.

        AS FOR THE REST OF THE ORCHARD'S CROP, OLSON SAYS THE PEACHES AND APPLES ARE CURRENTLY ON SCHEDULE.

       OLSON SAYS PEACHES SHOULD BE READY FOR HARVEST IN A WEEK AND A HALF TO TWO WEEKS.
