DISTRICT TO START OPENING UP BIDS FOR GYM REMODEL ON JUNE 24TH

              THE AUBURN SCHOOL BOARD MET MONDAY NIGHT AT THE SCHOOL’S CENTRAL OFFICE IN TOWN.

 

              THE BOARD APPROVED A MATH ADOPTION PROGRAM, WHICH WILL BRING NEW TEXTBOOKS TO THE ENTIRE DISTRCT FROM KINDERGARTEN TO 12TH GRADE.

 

              THE SCHOOL BOARD ALSO HELD A DISCUSSION ON WHEN THEY WOULD OPEN UP BIDS FOR THEIR UPCOMING GYM REMODELING PROJECT.

 

              ACCORDING TO AUBURN SUPERINTENDENT KEVIN REIMAN, THE NORTH BLEACHERS RECESSED INTO THE WALL OF THE GYM THREW OFF THEIR PLAN TO PUT THE PROJECT OUT FOR BID.

              REIMAN SAYS THE DISTRICT IS PLANNING TO OPEN UP BIDS ON JUNE 24TH WITH APPROVAL OF A BID COMING THIS FALL.

 

              THE BOARD ALSO DECIDED TO KEEP THE LUNCH PRICES THE SAME FOR THE UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR.

 

              THE NEXT MEETING OF THE AUBURN SCHOOL BOARD WILL BE HELD MONDAY JULY 8TH BEGINNING AT 5:30 AT A SPECIAL LOCATION OF BROWNVILLES TOWN HALL.
