EDWARDS PRAISES BLOBAUM AND DUNN FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

             THE MAY MEETING OF THE NEBRASKA CITY SCHOOL BOARD WAS HELD MONDAY EVENING AS WELL OUT AT THE SECOND AVENUE SCHOOL IN TOWN.

 

              THE BOARD UNAMIOUSLY APPROVED ESU 4 CORE SERVICES FOR THE 2013-2014 SCHOOL YEAR, AND A FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENTS REQUEST FOR AN ITALIAN BORN FEMALE TO COME TO NEBRASKA CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

 

              THE COUNCIL ALSO HEARD ABOUT TWO NEBRASKA CITY SCIENCE TEACHERS BEING APART OF A GRANT PROGRAM SPONSORED BY THE NASA NEBRASKA SPACE GRANT COSORTIUM.

 

              NEBRASKA CITY SUPERINTENDENT JEFF EDWARDS SAYS 6TH GRADE SCIENCE TEACHER ELIZABETH DUNN AND 7TH GRADE’S TAMMY BLOBAUM HAVE MADE CONTRIBUTIONS TO HELPING STUDENTS LEARNING SCIENCE.

              THE BOARD ALSO APPROVED THE HIRING OF FIVE NEW TEACHERS FOR THE 2013-2014 SCHOOL YEAR.

 

              THE NEXT MEETING OF THE NEBRASKA CITY SCHOOL BOARD WILL BE HELD MONDAY JUNE 10TH BEGINNING AT 6 O’CLOCK AT THE SECOND AVENUE SCHOOL IN TOWN.
