PEOPLE CAME FROM NEBRASKA, OTHER STATES TO SEE MUSEUM

            WELL ARBOR DAY MARKS THE BEGINNING OF MUSEUM SEASON IN NEBRASKA CITY, AND PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER NEBRASKA AND NATION WERE IN TOWN FOR THE GRAND OPENING OF THE KREGEL WINDMILL FACTORY ON FRIDAY.

 

             ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTOR OF THE KREGEL WINDMILL FACTORY JEREMY KIRKENDALL, THE MUSEUM IS A MIXTURE OF OLD TIME MANUFACTURING MIXED IN WITH TODAYS TECHNOLOGY

 

            SEVEN TOUCH SCREEN KIOSKIS ARE UP AROUND THE MUSEUM EXPLAINING THE DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE OLD WINDMILL FACTORY WITH ALL THE OLD MATERIALS AND TOOLS FROM 1939 STILL IN TACT.

 

            KIRKENDALL SAYS THIS MUSEUM IS ONE OF KIND.

            KIRKENDALL ADDED THE WINDMILL FACTORY WAS IN PRODUCTION UP UNTIL 1991 HERE IN NEBRASKA CITY AND THANKS TO FUNDING FROM THE KIMMEL, WORTH, AND NELSON FOUNDATION A GROUP WAS ABLE TO PRESERVE IT IN THE CONDITON IT IS TODAY.
