THE EVENT NETTED OVER 400 DOLLARS FOR WILDWOOD DOG PARK

               THE UNOFFICIAL BEGINNING OF THE ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION TOOK PLACE THIS PAST WEEKEND IN NEBRASKA CITY WITH MANS BEST FRIEND TAKING CENTER STAGE OUT AT THE WILDWOOD DOG PARK.

 

              THIS MORNING WITH MARY MAC, NEBRASKA CITY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION MEMBER STEPHANIE FARMER GAVE US AN UPDATE ON THE EVENT, SAYING THERE WERE OVER 40 DOGS AND OWNERS IN ATTENDANCE.

 

              FARMER SAYS THEIR GOAL WAS TO GATHER ENOUGH MONEY FOR A PUBLIC WATER STATION FOR THE DOG PARK.

 

              SHE SAYS THAT MISSION WAS ACCOMPLISHED.

              FARMER SAYS THEY ARE STILL IN NEED OF FUNDS TO PUT IN THINGS SUCH AS BENCHES, AGILITY EQUIPMENT, SIGNAGE AND A FEW OTHER MINOR THINGS FOR THE DOG PARK.
