NEBRASKA CITY APPROVES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CIS SURVEY

              THE SECOND APRIL MEETING OF THE NEBRASKA CITY CITY COUNCIL WAS HELD MONDAY NIGHT OUT AT CITY HALL IN TOWN.

 

              THE COUNCIL GOT A STATUS UPDATE FROM THE 2011 CDBG HOUSING REHAB PROGRAM AND APPROVED A GRANT APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2013 PROGRAM.

 

              THE COUNCIL ALSO APPROVED THE APPLICATION FOR THE NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR COMPREHENSIVE INVESTMENT AND STABILIZATION STUDY.

 

              CITY ADMINISTRATOR JOE JOHNSON SAYS THIS COULD BE A BIG THING FOR NEBRASKA CITY.

 

              JOHNSON AUDIO:

 

              THE COUNCIL ALSO REJECTED ALL BIDS FOR BANDWITH NEEDS IN TOWN AND AUTHORIZED A FRANCHISE AGREEMENT FOR A FUTURE BANDWITH PROVIDER FOR NEBRASKA CITY AND APPOINTED LEROY FRANA AND DAN PATTON TO THE MEAN BOARD.

 

              THE NEXT MEETING OF THE NEBRASKA CITY CITY COUNCIL WILL BE MONDAY MAY 6TH BEGINNING AT 6 O CLOCK OUT AT CITY HALL IN TOWN.
