KINTNER EXPLORING THE ISSUE AT THIS TIME

              A SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA STATE SENATOR IS TAKING HIS SUPPORT OF THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL, SAYING HE WOULD SUPPORT HIS COLLEAGUES BEARING ARMS IN THE STATE CAPTIAL BUILDING.

 

              SENATOR BILL KINTNER OF PAPILLION SAYS HE IS EXPLORING INTRODUCING LEGISLATION THAT WOULD ALLOW GUNS TO BE CARRIED BY STATE LAWMAKERS AT THE CAPITAL IN LINCOLN.

 

              KINTNER SAYS IF NOTHING ELSE HE WANTS TO GET DISCUSSION ON GUNS STARTED.

              AS FOR GUN LEGISLATION THIS SESSION, KINTNER SAYS HE FEELS THE LEGISLATURE IS AT A STAND STILL.

              KINTNER HAS BEEN AN OUTSPOKEN SUPPORTER OF THE NATIONS SECOND AMENDMENT, SAYING HE WOULD SUPPORT TEACHERS OR ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF AT SCHOOLS CARRYING A GUN ON SCHOOL PROPERTY.

   

           HE ALSO INTRODUCED LEGISLATION THAT WOULD MAKE PUBLIC RECORDS REGARDING HAND GUN PERMIT APPLICATIONS AND REGISTRATION DATA PRIVATE.
