TWO CLASSES COMING UP FIRST WEEK IN APRIL

             THE NEMAHA COUNTY EXTENSION OFFICE IS LETTING FARMERS IN SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA KNOW OF SEVERAL UPCOMING WORKSHOPS.

 

              ACCORDING TO EXTENSION EDUCATOR GARY LEOSING, THERE ARE TWO WORKSHOPS NEXT WEEK THAT HIS OFFICE IS ALREADY SIGNING PEOPLE UP FOR.

 

              THEY INCLUDE A FUTURE FARM ESTATE AND PLANNING WORKSHOP COMING UP WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3RD FROM 9 IN THE MORNING UNTIL NOON.

               IT WILL BE HELD IN THE BASEMENT OF THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK BASEMENT IN SYRACUSE.

 

              THE WORKSHOP WILL FOCUS ON THE TRANSER PROCESS INCLUDING THE TAXES INVOLVED, WILL TALK ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF ATTONEY’S, BUY AND SELL AGREEEMENTS AND MORE.

 

              THERE IS ALSO A SERIES OF WORKSHOPS FOR YOUNG FARMERS AND RANCHERS LOOKING FOR THEIR START IN THE INDUSTRY CALLED BEGINNER FARMERS AND RANCHERS STARTING NEXT WEEK AS WELL.

              THE CLASS BEGINS THURSDAY APRIL 4TH FROM 9 IN THE MORNING UNTIL 3 AT THE UNL AGRICULTURE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER IN ITHICA.
