MAN ACCUSED OF CALLING IN BOMB THREATS IN FIVE STATES LAST YEAR

            THE NEBRASKA CITY POLICE DEPARMENT GOT WORD LATE THURSDAY OF THE CAPTURE OF AN OHIO MAN WHO IS BELIEVED TO BE CONNECTED TO SEVERAL BOMB THREATS THIS PAST NOVEMBER’S ACROSS SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

 

              NINE COURTHOUSE IN SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA INCLUDING THE COURTHOUSES OF OTOE, RICHARDSON, CASS, AND JOHNSON IN THE KNCY LISTENING AREA ALL RECEIVED CALLS SAYING A BOMB WOULD GO OFF AT THEIR LOCATION ON THE MORNING OF NOVEMBER 2ND.

 

              NEBRASKA CITY POLICE CHIEF DAVE LACY WAS CALLED TO THE OTOE COUNTY COURTHOUSE THAT FRIDAY MORNING.

              HE SAYS THE MAN WHO THEY ARRESTED FOR THE CRIMES APPARENTLY CALLED IN SEVERAL BOMB THREATS ACROSS THE COUNTRY INCLUDING IN THE STATES OF OREGON, TENNESSEE, MISSISSIPPI, AND WASHINGTON

              ACCORING TO A PRESS RELEASE FROM THE NEBRASKA CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT THE SUBJECT HAS BEEN ARRESTED, AND WILL BE CHARGED IN FEDERAL COURT IN CONNECTION WITH MAKING FALSE THREATS CONCERNING AN ATTEMPT OF AN ALLEGED ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE OR DESTROY ANY BUILDING BY MEANS OF EXPLOSIVES.

 

              THE NAME OF THE INDIVDUAL HASN’T BEEN RELEASED AT THIS TIME.
