SCHAFER HAS TIES TO THE KNCY LISTENING AREA

             A SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA NATIVE WAS APPOINTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA BOARD OF REGENTS ON WEDNESDAY FROM GOVERNOR DAVE HENIEMAN.

 

              45 YEAR OLD ROBERT SCHAFER WILL REPRESENT THE DISTRICT 5 SEAT IN THE SOUTHEAST PORTION OF THE STATE.

 

            THE POSTION CAME OPEN AFTER ELK CREEK NATIVE LAVON HEIDEMANN WAS CHOSEN BY GOVERNOR HENIEMAN TO REPLACE LT GOVERNOR RICK SHEEHY, WHO RESIGNED FROM THE POST IN JANUARY.

 

            NOW SHAFER HAS TIES TO THE KNCY LISTENING AREA AS WELL.

             HE GRADUATED FROM PAWNEE CITY HIGH SCHOOL, PREVIOUSLY WORKED AS AN ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY AT THE STEHLIK LAW OFFICE IN PAWNEE CITY, AND IS ALSO AN OWNER AND OPERATOR OF A FARM IN PAWNEE COUNTY.
