SURVEYS ARE COMING IN THIS COMING WEEK'S UTILITY BILL

By Nate Gonner 3/15/2013

RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF PERU ARE URGED TO FILL OUT A SURVEY THAT WILL BE ARRIVING IN YOUR UTILITY BILL NEXT WEEK.

ACCORDING TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR FOR THE SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT (SENDD) LISA BEETHE, THE CITY OF PERU IS TRYING TO PRIORITIZE AND FIGURE OUT WHAT KIND OF PROJECTS THE PEOPLE OF PERU ARE INTERESTED IN.

THE SURVEY WANTS TO KNOW FROM RESIDENTS IF THEY FEEL THE STREETS OR WATER IS A BIGGER PRIORITY, OR IF IT IS SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

BEETHE SAYS IT ALSO IMPORTANT FOR THE CITY WHEN APPLYING FOR GRANT FUNDING.
