By Nate Gonner 3/5/2013

THE NEMAHA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE HAS PUT OUT MORE DETAILS ABOUT A SEMI TRAILER THAT AUTHORITIES BELIEVE WAS INVOLVED IN THE HIT AND RUN DEATH OF A RURAL AUBURN WOMAN.

IN A PRESS RELEASE ISSUED MONDAY AFTERNOON, AUTHORITIES ARE LOOKING FOR A SILVER OR LIGHT GRAY COLORED KENWORTH TRUCK MODEL T-800 OR VERY SIMILAR.

THE DESCRIPTION OF THE VEHICLE ALSO INDICATED THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN DAMAGE TO THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OR PASSENGER SIDE AROUND THE FENDER OR HEADLIGHT.

ACCORDING TO SHERIFF BRENT LOTTMAN, IT IS HARD TO TELL RIGHT NOW IF THE TRUCK IS IN THE AREA OR WAS PASSING THROUGH ON HIGHWAY 136 LAST WEDNESDAY EVENING.

THAT WAS WHEN 69 YEAR OLD BARBARA BOLEN WAS KILLED WHILE GOING TO THE MAILBOX TO GET HER MAIL WHEN SHE WAS HIT BY AN ONCOMING VEHICLE AND DIED AT THE SCENE.

THE NEMAHA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE IS ASKING FOR ANYONE WITH ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE INCIDENT TO PLEASE CONTACT THEIR OFFICE AT (402) 274-3139.
