OESTMAN SAYS THERE IS STILL TIME TO GET A FLU SHOT

             AFTER A STRONG OUTBREAK OF THE FLU LAST MONTH, NUMBERS ARE STARTING TO DECLINE IN SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

 

              THE NEBRASKA RADIO NETWORK IS REPORTING FLU CASES IN DOUGLAS COUNTY HAVE BEEN DECLINING.

 

              ACCORDING TO SOUTHEAST DISTRICT HEALTH DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR KAY OESTMAN, CASES OF THE FLU IN OTOE, NEMAHA, PAWNEE, AND RICHARDSON COUNTY ARE DROPPING OFF AS WELL

 

              OESTMAN AUDIO

 

              OESTMAN SAYS THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE HOSPITALIZED BECAUSE OF FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS IS ALSO DOWN.

 

              SHE SAYS THERE IS STILL TIME FOR PEOPLE TO GET THERE FLU SHOT IF THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT CATCHING THE FLU.
