HENIEMAN THINKS FIBER WILL MOVE TECHNOLOGY FORWARD IN STATE

               THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEBRASKA SAYS HE AGREES WITH FORMER LEGISLATIVE SPEAKER MIKE FLOOD ON THE IMPORTANCE OF FIBER OPTICS IN MOVING THE STATE FORWARD.

 

              THIS PAST JULY NEBRASKA CITY’S ROTARY CLUB HAD THE FORMER SPEAKER OF THE LEGISLATURE DOWN TO TALK ABOUT A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT TOPICS, INCLUDING THE IMPORTANCE THAT FIBER OPTICS WILL HAVE IN GROWING COMMUNITIES ALL ACROSS THE STATE.

 

              GOVERNOR HENIEMAN SAYS GENERALLY THE STATE IS DOING GOOD WITH THEIR ADVANCES IN THE TECHNOLOGY FIELD.

              NEBRASKA CITY RIGHT NOW IS LOOKING INTO WAYS OF HOW TO BRING FIBER OPTICS TO TOWN.

 

              CITY OFFICIALS HAVE BEEN IN DISCUSSIONS WITH SPIRAL COMMUNICATIONS OUT OF GLENWOOD IOWA ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF DEPLOYING FIBER IN TOWN ALONG WITH BRINGING A GIGABITE OF SPEED TO BUSINESS AND RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS IN TOWN.
