WATERMEIRE, KINTNER MAKE LEGISLATIVE DEBUT WEDNESDAY

             SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA WILL HAVE NEW VOICES IN LINCOLN WHEN THE LEGISLATIVE SESSION BEGINS LATER THIS WEEK.

 

              THE 2013 IS SET TO BEGIN ON WEDNESDAY AND STATE SENATORS DAN WATERMEIRE OF SYRACUSE AND BILL KINTNER OF PAPLLION ARE READY TO SERVE THE RESIDENTS OF SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS.

 

              WATERMEIRE, THE STATES FIRST DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE, REPLACES LAVON HEIDEMANN WHOSE TERM LIMITS RAN OUT LAST YEAR.

 

              IN THE SECOND DISTRICT KINTNER REPLACES PAUL LAMBERT OF PLATTSMOUTH, WHO HE DEFEATED IN NOVEMBERS ELECTION.

 

              GOVENOR DAVE HENIEMAN, WHO ENDORSED BOTH KINTNER AND WATERMEIRE IN LAST YEARS ELECTION, THINKS BOTH WILL REPRESENT SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA WELL.

              HENIEMAN ADDED HIS TOP PRIORITY IN THE EARLY PART OF THE LEGISLATIVE SESSION IS TO PASS THE STATES BUDGET.
